As the topic states, I have my AppleTV synched with my PC just because I have more storage room on it and a much faster processor than my MBP. I would like to use a software that is similar to VisualHub on the mac but for my PC. It takes a while to convert those HD MKV files and I think my PC would handle the conversion better than a 3 year old MBP.
What would you recommend for converting HD MKV's to a file format I can sync with my AppleTV?

Thanks guys

i use videora ipod converter. it has a apple tv setting. its the best ive used on pc

hmmm i was looking for something that worked with appletv...the only options i see for that software are ipods, so wouldnt that shrink the video and loose quality?

Not sure what you are asking: but you could use Handbrake for encoding or if you have a Nvidia card 8800 or higher you could use badaboom (the one I use). It is fast but the clarity is not as good as handbrake.
