All our AppleTV app show and movie purchases are under my account. However, I just bought an iPad for my wife and signed her into the AppleTV app under her own account, and we have family sharing active.

On her iPad if she searches for a title I own, she can watch it just fine. Also, AppleTV+ streaming works fine on her account even though the subscription is on my account.

However, if she goes to the Library in her AppleTV app on her iPad, none of my purchases show up. The Library is just empty. How do I get a list of the purchases to show up?

This morning has been a major headache. I spent half an hour trying to authenticate accounts on her new iPad and it was giving me weird errors or saying the info was incorrect. Finally I just updated from 13.1.3 to 13.3 and fortunately that fixed it. However, after several hours I still can't figure out how to get family AppleTV purchases to show, even though they are accessible.

This morning with new Apple hardware setup has been EXTREMELY frustrating. The hardware itself seems OK, but the software and OS are becoming less and less user friendly.

I have not seen this issue, nor do I have a solution, but I stopped using the tv app shortly after it first launched a while back.

Every once in a while, I decide to give it a try again, but it always seems to have issues.

The hardware itself seems OK, but the software and OS are becoming less and less user friendly.
This this my experience as well.

Apple's software used to be very intuitive and user firendly, but more and more, I am having to look up how to do basic things. Something that I used to hardly ever have to do.

While Apple's OS and software is getting less user friendly, it is also being gutted and removing features that I liked to use.

I often boot up old MacOS back ups to use some of those old features. Disk Utility is probably my most used old app.

In addition to becoming less user friendly, it seems like there are a lot more bugs and glitches with Apple's software than there used to be, and I find many things not working as they should.
