AppleTV + Comcast Cable?

Can my Comcast Digital Cable box plug into my (possibly future) AppleTV so I can watch my television?

The answer is yes, perhaps in the future. TV tuners are very close to working

I have a Motorola COmcast box and it has both USB and Ethernet connections on the back. I don't know when there will be software to support one or both, but I have heard Comcast make statements about IPTV. It is quite possible that the box will accept streaming video in the same way that ATV does (minus the UI, of course).
