Hoping for someone's help.

I've run into this problem twice already. I recently downloaded MakeMKV and rip/converted my Yes Man and the Ugly Truth movies. Once Converted to .mkv I used Handbrake with the AppleTV Preset to convert it to a .m4v.

Both play fine on iTunes, but don't transfer over to the AppleTV it says "was not copied because the video format is not supported by the AppleTV"

Any suggestions.

Thanks in advance

unplug your apple tv, let it sit for a minute, and plug it back in.

If that doesnt work, have you been ripping your movies using 24fps?

Beautiful, it must of been the FPS. I was leaving it at "same as source". Thanks.

I had a few that wouldnt play in ATV either, then searched and found it only supports 24fps. Of course I havent found this information on the dvd covers, so I just used 24fps for now on and havent had any troubles...
