I have a mcintosh labs MHT200 av receiver it has no
Hdmi inputs. Is it possible to connect an Apple tv to this device?

There is no RCA jacks on the new atv...just Hdmi. Suggestions?

Hi elgrecomac,
you can use a cale like this (XtremeMac XtremeHD Toslink Audio Cable) from the apple store.
Optical out from AppleTv to optical input into MHT200 McIntosh (one of the three digital input available).

Otherwise you have to split "HDMi" in 2 signals (1) video to your TV/Monitor and (2) audio to your MHT200, more expensive the first one and probably worthless for the kind of use.

Best regards

HDMi to your television and Optical audio cable to your Macintosh would be the simplest solution, I believe.

This is a year old thread...

Anyway, the OP probably meant they want video and audio through the receiver.

McIntosh =/= macintosh
