AppleTV/Itunes - TV SHOWS in Reverse order on Apple TV? When I navigate to a TV show from the apple TV menu, I can see my tv episodes within their selective group, but they are reversed in the order of play. For example, on my frontrow on my mac mini, show XXX Episodes shows up as 1-22, but on apple tv the same show shows up as 22-1, any ideas?

That's just the way Apple made it -- most recent first. Make sense for podcasts, I suppose, but a bit silly for TV shows. It also doesn't separate TV shows into season like the iPod does. Maybe a future update will make things a bit more intuitive...

The reverse ordering fits their iTunes rental/buy model, as you'd want to see the most recent first.

However for those who wish to rip DVDs of TV shows, it's just incredibly irritating!

In a future update I hope Apple includes the option to sort TV episodes like we want to sort them, either by most recent, or ascending or descending order. I also find the default way :apple:TV sorts TV episodes silly.

:apple:TV does properly separate by season if you have the episodes tagged correctly. On the Video tab of the Get Info window there is a field for season number.

Michael
