I have the latest version of the Mac Mini with the updated software on my Apple TV 2. It can see my Mac Mini but when it try to access it's information with iTunes open I says it is loading but eventually errors out. I can ping successfully from my Mac Mini to the Apple TV. I have the latest version of iTunes.

My MacBook Pro and Mac Pro can be accessed successfully on the Apple TV. All three are running Lion with the latest updates.

The Mac Mini did at one time work on the Apple TV. The firewall is off on the Mac Mini.

Any suggestions to get the Mac Mini and Apple TV to work again would be appreciated.

Can your other Macs see your iTunes contents? If you have iTunes open for all your Macs and they belong to the same home sharing (also same LAN), you other Macs should be able to access your Mac Mini's iTunes library and it’s content, if not, then maybe your Mac Mini's isn’t share right. If you can access them successfully, then you can start troubleshoot the Apple TV.

going out on a far limb here, but it can't hurt anything, try rebooting your router, i've seen that fix problems with airplay.

Thank you rayyu882 and waw74 for your responses.

No, my other Mac's cannot see my Mac Mini's iTunes library until I read the following here I was able to quit mDNSresponder in the Activity Monitor. Once that was done I was able to see my Mac Mini's iTunes library on my MacBook Pro (My Mac Pro is currently shut off).

Even though I can see my Mac Mini on my MBP when I click on the Mac Mini library it eventually times out and I am put back to the MBP music library.

I still can't access the Mac Mini on Apple TV 2 even though it still appears as an option.

I will presume I have the sharing correct on the Mac Mini since I can see it on my MBP. I also have restarted my wireless router.

Maybe double check your iTunes sharing settings and make sure you have what you need selected and also make sure your MacMini and other devices are in the same LAN. I'm not sure what else to suggest after this.

Thank you rayyu882.

After deleting the mdnsresponder service my Mac Mini showed up on my other Macs while in iTunes. I still can't access the Mac Mini on AppleTV but I am a bit closer than I was before.
