I used HandBrake to convert an avi movie to mp4 and added the srt file, which I then put into iTunes. When I played the movie on AppleTV the subtitles are too small to read. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks in hope!

AppleTv sub size

Thanks for the advice about subbler. It's difficult to use but I found another app called isubtitle and it's really easy to add subs and alter the appearance of them and you can see what you're doing at the same time.

I submitted feedback on this. It's really getting frustrating, since most of the stuff I watch is subtitled.

At the moment, I've resorted to using iSubtitle and saving as .mov, since iTunes seems to give readable subtitles for .mov shows and movies.

Have read elsewhere that this is fixed in 4.3 update for AppleTV (currently in beta)... hope so, it's bugging me too.
