appletv won't connect to my computer?

I am using itunes 10.7 and os 10.8.2 and apple tv version #3 (gen) with os 6beta 4 and unable to connect to iTunes using micro usb why is this?
 
maybe because the latest itunes is yet another apple disaster, i am having tons of problems, including wifi sync not working and high cpu usage
