I have a minor question.
I have got a 15" retina macbook pro, and sometimes my trackpad jumps.
I tried searching anyhing in my consol, I have found some strange entry.

kernel: AppleUSBMultitouchDriver::validateChecksum - 512-byte packet checksum is incorrect (expected 0xad2e, checksum bytes were 0xb9ff)

There are more from this, with different byte numbers.

Could anyone check it? Is there any similar entry in your sytem.log or kernel.log

I am using 10.8.2

Thank you

What do you want checked? Just ignore it.

Wow, thank you Mr. Microsoft. You've offered technically correct information that has absolutely no value.

Next time, either try to be helpful, or avoid the 'reply' button.

Btw, I've gotten the same error. I've heard that some older USB startup scripts can cause interference problems on the latest macbook pros.

Here's a thread that talks about it. Perhaps bad hardware is the issue?

If you get the same error, I don't think it is a hardware issue.
I asked other people, who are using late macbooks, they have the same line in the console too.
