There are many applications that aren't working with the 1.1.3 firmware. . .here is a thread that you can post the issues. . .and learn the possible fixes(if you can't wait for an update).

Right now I see that Term-v100 and Locations applications do not work.

The term-v100 asks you to login and the Locations app just shows a blank screen.

I think it would be easier to list Apps that DO work since most seem to not work (in my experience). By the way, this is my first jailbreaking experience. Anyway...

Work:
iSolitaire
iPhysics
Labyrinth
Chess
DressUp

I couldn't get the iPhysics add-ons to work but I may just be doing something wrong. As I said, I'm a newbie.

1.1.3 with same baseband

Works:
Blinker
Rainbow Light
Pocket Guitar
Piano
Guitar Tuner
Voice Notes
iRadio
Hum
EvolutionRGB
Level
Labyrinth
Metronome
Burp
iBlackJack

Then I seemed to have run out of space. :)

BossTool was updated to work with 1.1.3, you can now make more space! yay!

Did you guys have to do anything special to get iPhysics to work?

I've tried manually installing it and installing it through Installer.app about five times each and I can never get it to run. When I launch it, I get a blank white window for about 15 seconds and then it just crashes back to the springboard.

yes, bosstool now works.

taskbar notifier doesn't work either

categories doesn't work. . .and some new app called 'ifob' doesn't work either

labyrinth?

Can you guys please explain how you got Labyrinth working on 1.1.3?

I am able to play the demo just fine, but I activate my purchased copy, and then when I try to download all the level packs, none appear.

Any ideas?

Chad

is summerborad, customize or maps locate me working yet on 1.1.3???thats the only reason y i havent upgraded yet

i see some of you got iBlackjack to work. I just installed it from installer.app and it got out to springboard. I ssh'd and had a look into the /Applications folder and found iBlackjack there. I downloaded it to my mac to see the contents of the .app and found only a bunch on png files in there. Same with other applications like Backgammon, iPhysics, Apollo...

What's going on??? So far I only have LocateMe, SMBPrefs, Converter, Services and iZoo working.

Also seems like iTunes is synching my Address Book Contacts to /private/var/root/library/Addressbook instead of to /private/var/mobile/Library/Addressbook. I had to manually move the files over for my contacts to show up on my iPhone.

Apollo only works on Nates jailbreak. Kinda sad... Wish it would work on the dev release!

STE explained it all

http://blog.psmxy.org/2008/02/02/original-113-jailbreak-removed-from-ste-packaging/

Copied from his blog.

Ever since the dev team released their version of the 1.1.3 jailbreak, there have been problems, as theirs and the one that Nate True released do not behave the same. The jailbreak released by Nate does not maintain the privilege separation between the “mobile” user, which most apps run as in 1.1.3, and the “root” user. The dev team’s jailbreak preserves this.

Nate’s allowed most apps to continue to run as they had on previous releases. The dev team’s causes many apps to break. The dev team’s is the more correct method, however. Apps need to be rewritten to work in the new environment, rather than hacking the system to allow them to run unmodified.

erica released a few of hers. . .working on 1.1.3 now
like make it mine, sendpics, sendsong, voicenotes, todo, tapp

Do these applications work on 1.1.3/1.1.4?

I'm currently running 1.1.4, but I think that all applications that work on 1.1.3 also work on 1.1.4.
