Application creation dates on my MBP (over a year old?)

Does anyone else have application create dates a year older than their Ship Date. Mine ws delivered two days ago:

When looking at info on iweb it says it was created back in april 06?, is this when it was installed on my HD?

just a bit strange..

That is not when it was installed. Most software has a creation date showing when the application or version was created (not installed). Although, there is some that the creation date changes depending on when it was installed.

It is not something to worry about though.
