Hi,

I have just started iPhone programming and have my first application all up and running.

I am distributing the application on an ad-hoc basis. When the application is dragged into iTunes, the icon displayed is just the generic Mac application icon.

Once installed, the icon on the home screen is correct, it is just the icon when the App is displayed in the Applications section of iTunes.

I have been searching around trying to find an answer but I can't work out how to get my custom icon to display in iTunes.

Is this a limitation of Ad-Hoc distribution or am I missing something simple?

Thanks for any help,
Eric

Don't sweat it...it's because you don't have an real mac icon resource. It's not really worth making one although if you're interested you can use icon composer which comes on your mac.

That makes sense, thanks very much for that!

One more question...

If I was to submit an App to go on the App store, the 512x512 icon that you submit with it becomes the icon shown in iTunes. Is that correct?
