Hello,

i have an idea for a product and i want to make some sort of application (maybe it doesnt need one at all).

let me explain:

I would like to attach this little button/spy cam to my iphone. http://www.ebay.com/itm/8G-Mini-Spy...DVR-Camcorder-HD-Video-Recorder-/121162411672

With the usb cable right into the iphone ( with a mini usb to iphone cable or something, let me know if you know where to get a cable like this if you have any idea :).

On the camera there is a button to take pictures, i would like it to be that when i press on that button that the camera takes a pictures and sends it to the iphone photos.

I got my iphone linked to my computer with iCloud.

So actually i should be able to take a picture by pressing on the button of the camera and then sned it to the iphone that would send it to my icloud on my computer.

If you have any idea how i could do this or know somebody who can make a application of some sort let me know, i will pay for the application if it works.

Thanks!

Thomas

It cannot easily be done. The USB interface on both devices are USB targets; you need to have a USB host to enumerate the device and set it up. Thus they won't be able to talk to one another.

That being said, I do think that the USB on the iPhone is USB-onthego which can be either, but it would require software interaction at the low level. This is not supplied in normal API's.

One top of all that, even if possible, and you could get to all that, to access the USB you need to use the "Made for iPhone/Apple" program. That requires that you have the capability to produce about 50k units a month and a minimum amount of upfront investment (about $50 to $100k).

So no, ain't gonna happen. Sorry.

i dont understand anything you said..

It cant be that hard to make a thing like that is it, and what if i would use an android device?
