iOS Application name - Text truncated under icon on home screen

Been searching the SDK documentation and reference library but can not find any info on naming conventions for the apps.

Our app has 12 characters including a space for it's name but is displayed like this xxxx...xxxxx under it's icon.

Is there a way around this / any recommendations or can anyone point us in the right direction for the documentation?

It only has space for 11 characters, might have to get rid of the space to make it fit without the added ellipse.

Thanks - I think we'll slight change the name of the app..
