I've noticed the PS3 is an odd beast when it comes to metadata. It won't read metadata written via MetaX on .MP4 (h.264) or .M4A (AAC audio) files. However, the PSP can read .M4A metadata just fine.

Additionally, when you purchase or rent a PSN movie, it displays both metadata and album art for that title.

Has anyone figured out how to properly tag video files for the PS3?

Ive been trying to figure this out myself

will the psp read tags on mp4 files written by meta X or just m4v files
