Hi,

Here I'm thinking on the project (a game) that would involve using my app a group of people, just by inviting friends from facebook (via facebook api).

Still, the question is: can I build "organizer" + "participants" scheme without some backend on my server, that would control and verify that organizer really started game session and all participants had joined game?

Does anyone had similar experience and can share thoughts on this?

Thanks a lot!

How would the user devices talk to each other? If its over bluetooth then no you could probably do it without a web server. If over the internet, then yes, you'll be much better off with a webserver, because you wont be able to detect other devices and find out what state they are in

Thanks, that's seems to be a key. Users will be "talking" one to other via the internet by participating together. So to keep everyone in the loop and be sure they're in game, I'll probably need server for that.
