Applications crashing

Hi All, has anyone seen any issues with MacOS Sonoma after the device sleeps, all applications have become somewhat unusable (You can open any applications but cannot do anything inside the app) I am trying to click on the Crash reports section in console but doesn't do anything and clicking on applications in the dock this doesn't open unless they are already open.

This is on a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)

Will give this a go and yes I think this is a fusion drive, is this something commonly seen with fusion drives?
