Hello,

I’ve had the Apple Nylon Band for over a year now. Recently, the underside is starting to scratch my wrist. It’s around the hole where I put the buckle tongue through. I see some lose fibers sticking out. Is this normal for nylon bands as time goes on? Is there a way to remove or smooth the fibers? Thanks.

I imagine the band is just starting to wear out. I also own two of the nylon band's and mine are not fraying. You could try to remove the fibers or simply just replace the band. But I don't think it's abnormal, especially being if the band sees a lot of use. You could also try contacting Apple and explain that the band is wearing out, they might replace it for you free of charge.

Maybe a match could caulderize the frayed ends? I know risky to burning the band so maybe a call to Apple might be the trick.

But if Apple decided to replace the Watch band free of charge, seeing burnt ends might change there mind otherwise.
