iOS Approved Applications Question

Do you get an email confirmation when your application is approved or do you keep checking the status daily? I got an email when it failed to meet requirements, but I randomly checked today and my application was up.

Normally you get a confirmation email. Lately though, Apple appears to be quite lax in this department. I've had three apps gone Ready For Sale this week and no emails. This didn't used to be the case.
