Apps between iPhone and iPad

When I download an app on my iPhone, is there any setting that will mirror it to my iPad also? I thought apps transferred to iTunes and then from there I have the option of selecting during a sync...

Currently I am downloading the app on both devices independently.

Yes, check Store settings on both devices for automatic downloads.

The automatic download will work, it came in iOS 4.3.3

Thanks, Ill take a look. I don't have wireless sync on, should the apps sync wirelessly too if I enable that?

If I remember correctly, iPhone-only apps don't download on the iPad no matter what automatic syncing ya got enabled

that makes sense, maybe a lot of my apps are iPhone and iPad size specific...

You sure? I get apps my ipad all the time that have a iphone resolution.

But don't you manually download them? We're talking about automatic syncing/downloading of the apps. Ex: You download the app on your iPhone and it starts downloading on the iPad too
