I upgraded and jailbroke my 2G to 3.0.1 from 2.2 last night. Now, anytime I open a non-stock app, they close as soon as they open. Mail app works, Safari works and BossPrefs and Cydia work.

Any ideas why this is happening? Will I be able to delete the apps and then reinstall them? Or will I have to do a complete restore?

Try shutting down your iphone, wait a few minutes, and boot it back up

I find some apps on the Official App Store require a nice shutdown/startup before it will work properly

I turned it off already. Only waited 15 seconds before turning it on again, but that didn't help. It's at home right now so I can't try anymore stuff until I get home, but I'm hoping deleting and redownloading the apps works.

Simple.

Install a free application, doesn't matter which. It should fix it. You can delete the free application afterwards if u want to.
