I have just installed the new Beejive IM, and on my iPhone it is showing the logo for AP News, which I no longer have installed on my phone or my Mac (completely deleted). Anyone know why this is happening, and more importantly how to sort it out?
I have tried deleting and resinstalling on the phone, deleting and reinstalling from Mac, and restrating the iPhone and none have made any difference.

Any idea? thanks in advance.

delete the app file from the computer and download it again

tried that. I am just restoring now. I will let you know the results in an hour. This kind of thing really annoys me. I think its a sign of my OCD!

i have 3 apps that are doing it. hopefully apple updates 3.0 with a fix. and maybe they'll add a few things! ie. wallpaper behind icons, category folders??? :D

Having the same problem
Let's Golf shows the icon for Mini Piano
TweetDeck shows the icon for "Lucky" (Wife's App)

I don't have either of these two apps (Piano or Lucky) on my iPhone.
I tried to resync.
I tried deleting the app off of my phone and then put it back on from iTunes.
Neither worked....

Other ideas?
Don't really want to have to restore....

Restoring worked, but it's a pain if I have to do that each time I install a new app (about 1 every 2 days!)
