I have googled it but can seem to find anyone that has compiled a list, what apps are particularly useful for 2 or more iPhone families. Specifically I would like to find an app for creating shopping lists where my wife and I can add and subtract items from the same list from each of our phones.

As I said, the shopping list got me thinking, but I can't be the only 2 iPhone family out there that would be interesting in finding apps that work best with more than one iPhone.

For list sync, look at zenbe. My wife and I are sync'ed to the same lists of various things. Also check out gnotes for a simple yet useful notes sync. Both apps are free.

My wife and I use "Ineedstuff shopping assistant" app for shopping. the app allows you to edit the list from any device and update the list. I can also edit the list online, then have the app sync with the list.

it's not free, be we like it.

Just checked, price has went up since i picked the app up, now 8.99

Good topic. I was going to ask the same question. My wife just got her first iphone last week. So far, all I've come up with are 2 player games that you can play when on the same wifi, such as Scrabble and Lightbike. There was also an app around Valentine's Day that let you blow a kiss to another phone on the same network.

More?

NoteSpark is really good for this. You guys each create an account and can have shared notes which can be edited by each other and it shows the changes made from last time by that person.

There's also an online version that syncs with the phones app wirelessly

I appreciate all of the input. I am going to try and check some of these out.

I suspect as the iPhone reaches a deeper market penetration we will see more apps tailored for groups with multiple iPhones. My wife works in administration for a large library and now every person but one now has an iPhone.
