Apps Freezing on 13 Pro Max

So I’m having issues where certain apps are freezing or just getting stuck when in use. Mainly Facebook and Pokémon GO. I realized there was an update to iOS 15.0.1 and I was hoping that would fix the issues but alas, it has not. They’re more intermittent than continuous but it is rather annoying especially for a new phone. Usually if I’m browsing photos on FB it will freeze and the only fix is to close the app completely and refresh. Same with Pogo. Is anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried doing a reset all settings?

No issue. Have you deleted those app and install it again?

I will try to delete and reinstall. It doesn’t happen all the time but it’s annoying when it does, especially for a new phone. Thanks!

My suspicion it’s it’s an incompatibility of the app with the latest version of iOS 15

Probably a daft answer but I had what looked like a freeze watching YouTube in landscape. It seemed to get stuck in landscape and I had to swipe from the left hand side rather than the bottom to quit out of the app in the end. If that makes sense. 🙂

Same here with the Facebook app while pressing photos on full screen mode. It freezes until you swipe Home and go back. 15.0.2 fixed YouTube but fb hasn’t.

When it freezes I feel like breaking it but I am not doing that considering the price I paid but it really sucks

Facebook is the main culprit. A coworker on an iPhone XS has a similar issue so it could just be the FB app. Definitely Go Astros! It’s not over until it’s over.
