One thing I’ve always found annoying is that when you have a folder with multiple apps in that is spread across a few pages then when you delete an app the others don’t move up to fill that page and shuffle across.

Wonder if Apple will ever add that feature.

how would they know what you want, and where? all my apps are in folders, in places i want them to be. if i remove an app, it's my choice as to what replaces it. apple can't possibly know how you organize your folders, and what you want when you remove something...

I’m not expecting Apple to know what I want. What I’m asking for isn’t that complicated. All I’m saying is that say I remove one of the 9 apps in page one of my folder then the apps in the other pages all move across so there are no spaces.

right, but what about people who have organized spaces? for example, page 1 of a folder is games, page 2 is utlities, etc. why would one then want a utility to automatically replace a deleted game?

or if someone has a structure of their own, and the apps on page 2 are where they want those apps.

It seems that Apple's approach to folder pages is similar to home screen pages where things don't necessarily automatically just get moved on their own between the pages.
