iPhone apps in "infinifolders" any way to keep settings when jailbreaking?

Still on os 5.1.1 is there a way to keep my infinifolders settings or should I just use something like PkgBackup (never worked well when I tried it a couple years ago) in cydia and restore from there? There's so much conflicting info out there, thanks for any heads up!
