Why is it that there is ZERO solution for a replacement Calendar to the lame iPhone one; that will support any of the below WITHOUT forcing some 3 step convoluted and backwards rigged solution?

For example: All applications in the app store I can find require syncing services via Google (1) or some desktop app syncML transport (2).

Well..

I want to purchase a better organizer for my phone via the app store (or cydia) I really don't care where it comes from or what it costs. The iPhone calendar sucks, and I want a better one.

I use MM, and exchange (push). Both are treating me well, and sync perfectly- great. Problem arises when searching for this better organizer, calendar or whatever you want to call it- I can't have it without re-doing my complete setup that is in place. I understand it is an API issue with  not allowing for iCal integration; but seriously WTH is it with this?

I don't want my stuff on Google- no thanks- and most importantly; it's absolutely ridiculous to have to turn a 1 step process into 3.

For instance; I wanted to try the following
Pocket information -nope
Awesome notes- nope
Smarttime Pro- nope
2Do - nope need wifi, and overwrites iphone-->ical duplicating calendars (but their groups drag and drop app is outstanding)

Bringing me to my next question; why does the groups application work seamlessly with ical over the air syncing; without third party requirements?

Anyone's help/input/success stories is very much welcomed!!

Remember- No google/third party installations, sync services are what I am searching for.

Thanks
