So just out of curiosity, what do you think will happen to all the pseudo-mms apps, landscape work around and notes syncing applications now that they are coming natively to the iPhone. Will the company/developers go out of business?

i wouldnt say the developers would go out of business. some developers are making apps in just a few weeks each. if one stops selling you just build some more. There are people working on 5-10 different kinds of apps at once. There will always be things that can be added to stay a step ahead of apple too for their current apps.

I agree with you guys on the whole innovate or die, but don't you guys think these developers are at disadvantage here?

They still have limitations on what they can do while apple went out of its way an "innovate" these apps.

Sure firefox has come a very long way, but while windows comes preloaded with IE, it doesn't have as many restrictions with its OS as apple does...

These developers basically wasted their time and effort so that apple could just steal their ideas...probably..

I wish they can raise up in arms and do something against it and maybe we can help...

You can't be serious with that statement. These developers didn't come up with the idea for MMS or Landscape keyboard. Like everyone else has posted most of these developers are working on new apps all the time. Maybe one MMS developer made some extra cash cause Apple for whatever reason forgot to include MMS. I'm sure said developer isn't going to complain about Apple FINALLY adding MMS if he made some money
