Hi,

just upgraded iPod Touch to 2.0 only to discover that many apps are not available on the Ireland iTunes stores - specifically I really wanted to get Super Monkey Ball. I'm really disappointed - does anybody know of different plans for different countries etc? I was already aware that movies/tv shows were different for each country, but I'm a bit disappointed about this. I probably wouldn't have bought the upgrade if I had known about the lack of apps. :(:(:(

I too am in this position. However I think they will come in time so your software is not wasted!..the bright side is at least this time we have something to build on in the store (the 22 pages of aps there) unlike the movies/tv shows (anyone know when they are coming to irish itunes??)
If like me however you have no paitance buy a gift card for a another country.Like the uk and you can purchase off the uk itunes which does seem to have the apps irealand is missing such as monkey ball! as well as I wide selection of tv shows and movies!

Limited Apps in Europe

Why is there so few apps in the AppStore in Europe, Ireland anyway. There is only one game listed (Mr Shuffle), no super monkey ball or any other games. Come on Apple why are you restricting me from buying Apps.

New games in App Store

Hi all,

FYI a couple of games have appeared in the Ireland iTunes App store. Still no Super Monkey Ball unfortunately - but it is at least somewhat promising that it is possible for there to be games (unlike movies/tv)

cheers

Apps not available? Are you sure?

Dont pay attention to iTunes. For fun, try clicking on the games category on your ipod touch/iphone... Ignore the fact that it still says 0 games, just take the plunge. I did just now, and was greeted with quite a surprise, or rather, about 100 surprises :D

Now, back to Enigmo (yes, i BOUGHT it on the IRISH Appstore, at last!)!

hooray

thank you apple - you have returned the sense of child-like wonder to my life and restored my waning faith.

Now any chance of sorting out the movies?
