Apps not working after 3.0 upgrade

After performing the 3.0 upgrade yesterday, all was well (I had updated and used several applications) but a few hours later all 3rd party apps refused to open.

After selecting an app, it would start up for about 1-2 seconds then crash and revert back to the OS.

I redownloaded/restored the phone, thinking my original download/install had been corrupted and everything started working again.

Today, the same problem is happening again. Apps immediately crash upon being selected.

ALL preinstalled Apple applications (iTunes, App Store, iPod, etc) continue to work fine.

All my apps are completely up to date.

Your Apps are not compatible with 3.0. You will have to wait for the company to update their App before they will work. Nothing is wrong with the phone, this is a normal occurance.

Problem is this is happening with ALL third party apps...including those that have been updated to support OS 3.0.

I wanted to check on this once before I posted, but both times this happened things went back to normal after syncing. It's a solution, but I'd prefer not needing to carry my MacBook with me everywhere to make sure...

This happened to me after installing 3.0.

Only one of my apps would open the rest would do this.

I rebooted and everything was fine.

I still am having problems even after syncs and backups and a restore short of waiting for 3.0.1 or a trip to the apple store or losing all my data (many hours of game play) is there anything I can do?
