I'm using a dual display setup. Any time I open a second window of a running app it opens it up in another monitor. Is there a setting I can change within Preferences so that all new windows get opened in the active monitor?

Thanks!

Hi!
I'm new at MacOS, so may be my solution is not the best.
I've realized that happens when you are in an app "maximized" (I don't even know if this is the proper expression in Mac OS).
So, I usually work without maximizing windows to prevent apps launching in the second screen (that is usually switched off because it's the TV).

Yeah I figured thats why it jumps to another screen. Only when an app is in fullscreen mode.
