Apps opened from Safari not returning to Safari properly.

Just got the new iPhone 7 and updated to the latest iOS and now if I'm using safari and it opens up another app when you're browsing such as Amazon, when you tap the top left to return to safari it does but opens up a new blank window rather than returning you to the last window you were browsing. Has anyone else had this and know of a fix?

P.S. Sorry if this has been asked before, I did look but couldn't find anything.

The blank window is a bug and it's still happening in the current beta.
