for some reason, some APPS open first in the external display instead of the main display on my Macbook Pro running Leopard 10.5.1. i know somewhere i did something but can't seem to reset it back. of course, if i discount the external, all APPS open on the main display. i tried restarting and resetting PRAM to no avail. Under DISPLAY>>ARRANGEMENT, i've made sure the main display has the menu bar on it.

anyone out there run into the same problem? anyone know how to get all APPS to open in main display 1st? is there a preset cache i can delete or reset or something via Terminal?

I've sort of had the same problem.
I think Leopard remembers what programs you were using on the external display and puts them back there the next time you launch them. I'm not sure if there's any fix.
All I would have said is make sure about the menu bar, but you've done that :)
