Apps Problem

I downloaded a few free Apps and I pay.. Holdem. They worked for the first day but the last 3 days there has been a problem

I click on the icon on IPhone screen and it loads for 5 seconds and jumps back to the IPHone desktop.

Can someone help me out

I had the same issue.
I found a whole bunch of others seem to have the same issue (Apple's discussion forums)...it seems to be related to classic iPhones upgraded to 2.0.
The only solution I have found is to do a hard reset on the phone and restore from iTunes from your last back-up.
Under Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. Then attach the iPhone to your computer and restore.
