Apps purchased on 2G iPhone won't upload to iTunes

I've synced and activated my iPhone to iTunes, but the apps i've purchased on my iPhone don't upload to iTunes. Anybody know how to go about transferring them to iTunes?

I had this problem with a couple of apps, I ended up deleting them from the phone and downloading them in iTunes, you can do this for free.

If they don't transfer on sync use File->Transfer purchases to iTunes

I know for me after upgrading to 2.0, the "Sync all applications" wasnt checked by the default on the Applications tab in the iPhone settings when its connected to your computer, after I checked that box my applications transferred to my computer.

This fails for me. It begins the transfer, but quits. No error dialog at all.
