Been through several 8 Plus & now have the 8. All have had/have really bad speaker clipping with Sky Guide & Sudoku ME.

Anyone notice other apps doing this?

Sudoku ME developer says it’s not their app and after I sent Sky Guide developers video of the issue they haven’t responded.

Were there others apps doing this?
For me:
Sky Guide - since day 1
Sudoku ME - since day 1
Recently heard in PCalc (memory, not number, keys)
Brainwave Studio
Recently heard occasionally in Apple Music

OK, got it. I was trying on an iPad, and apparently the sounds don't play. Installed on an 8 I'm demo'ing after returning the X. I have music & effects. It was ok when I first loaded the app but gradually a buzzing kicked in. It's not what I would call audio clipping, more like a vibration noise, I think?

iPad not affected. Full disclosure, I’m on an 8 and considering going back to the 8 Plus and just living with it. No better option for me

It's odd. I'm trying out various music in the Music app and getting good sound at all volumes. I'll try YT instrumental as you suggested in your other thread.

You did say you were getting this with both the 8 and the 8 Plus, right?

Plus is just too big for me, but I appreciate the note.
