I had tons of apps on my ipad, do you think most will be able to be used with my MBA?

It's very probable that iOS developers will "port" their work to the Mac OS X platform, as long as those Apps are not specifically reliant on the particular Human Interface of iOS devices (touch screen, accelerometer...).
But in terms of development work, it's not a trivial process.

I think we will see a lot of iOS apps ported to the Mac, however many more will either need a complete rethink of the input system and some will be completetely incompatible.

We may see more on-screen 'cursors' used, in place of the finger. So that you can see where you are tapping. This could work but it won't be as good experience as on the ipad/iphone.

IOS Apps On MacOS

Hey...they've already got a decent emulator for developers, I bet the secret weapon of Lion is being able to run IOS apps on Lion.

Yeah I'm a developer, but, just a little, and I certainly don't know anything secret....its just an obvious killer "app" marketing move.

But they wouldn't translate, some apps will be completely useless.
There could be a system wide cursor (round circle) that takes the place of your finger on the mac screen, with multiple cursors displayed for multitouch.
