Apps suddenly installing on 2 devices?

For some reason, when I install an app on my iPad, it is automatically downloading and installing on my iPhone at the same time?

Why has this started happening, and how can I stop it happening in the future?

I installed 9.2 on my iPad last night and this is when it started happening, I have had 9.2 beta 4 on my iPhone since release.

On the device you don't want the apps, go to Settings -> iTunes & App Stores and turn off automatic downloads for apps and whatever else you don't want auto downloaded.

I have mine turned on and it turns OFF after almost every update. So I guess you got the reverse? Ha ha.
