I jailbroke yesterday with the latest update that included the ability to install Cydia. Phone is a AT&T 64Gig iPhone 6 running 8.1.

Everything went well and seems to be working good. Except for one tiny but strange issue.

Whenever I access an app that is inside a folder, when I exit that app rather than exit out to the folder and allowing me to choose another app or press home to exit the folder, the folder appears for a second then automatically closes back to the home screen.

I've tried respringing and a hard reboot. Still happens.

Has anyone else seen this?

Mine is fine. I open an app in a folder and exit it, it goes back to the folder. Maybe one of your tweaks is causing this issue. Good luck Jacob!

I disabled all of the tweaks. Still the same. Haven't had a chance to but with 8.1.1 coming I may factory reset and re-jailbreak to see if it does it again the next time. Hate to do it though because that involves a lot of time to set everything up again.

The issue was caused by tweak Vestigo! Found out after restoring and installing tweaks one by one. Problem is even if you disable the tweak it still does this. Had to restore again.

Just thought I would share.

I had to read your thread to make sure it was an actual issue. I say that, because this is a "feature" with Folder Enhancer. It's an option you can set.

Often I open apps inside folders with the intent to return to the Springboard thereafter so having the containing folder stay open annoys me when I have to close it to get back to the Springboard.

Glad you found the problem though.

I find that to be a feature. On iOS 6 I used a tweak called foldercloser which did just that, on iOS 7 I used folderenhancer to achieve that. But then I also used a tweak call phonecloser on iOS 6 that when you hit the end button after the the call it returned to the home screen instead of the phone app. To each his own lol;)

I remember the tweak you speak of. The issue with this was that there was a delay. A pause in how it worked. It was an annoyance that my OCD couldn't handle. :) Anyway it's fixed.
