Quick Look can do that for you if you are only wanting to view them in full screen. Or are you looking for an app that you can work on a GIF while in full screen?

ToyViewer.

Thank you so much for your quick reply!
Quick Look does't read gif unfortunately or I don't know how to use it (well I have everything in French and I don't know if preview = quick look = the thing I have in french called aperçu)
ToyViewer is great :D
PS. If anyone finds themselves in an overdue-thing-for-university-panic like I do, I found another one in the meanwhile, "ViewIt" it's similar to ToyViewer but has a zoom option

To use Quick Look, just open Finder and go to the GIF you want to view. highlight it and click on your spacebar. It will open the GIF in Quick Look and then click on the full screen arrows in the top right corner of the Quick Look screen. Its that simple.
