In a few days I am taking a long car trip (Not driving :)) and I need something to keep me pre-occupied. I got TTR (App Store) and I'm thinking of getting Super Monkey ball. But is that a game that has enough levels that will last me 2 or 3 hours? I'm going to be using an iPod Touch. So fill me in on the lengthy and fun apps (doesn't have to be gaming)

Super Monkey Ball has like 100 levels...

You can also get Aurora Feint which is free.

Enigmo has like 50 levels.

So yeah, those four (including TTR) will definitely last you an easy 2-3 hours...provided you don't get bored of carting around a monkey in a ball or seeing water/laser/etc dripping/shooting around.

Super Monkey Ball would probably be very difficult to play in a car. It's hard enough when you're not moving. :p

Just something to think about.

Oak, not to hijack the thread, but don't racing games and the like make you wanna puke when you're riding in the car? I wouldn't last a mile before I had to blow.

Super Monkey ball does have enough to keep you occupied.

At the beginning its hella hard, but then you get used to it. I dont know if it would last you 2 or 3 hours though.... Another fun game is Moto Racer, which is also $9.99.

Some cool free games are Cube Runner, Tap Tap Revenge, and if your with a sibling/friend, you could get T4Two Free, its like pong. :)

I'd suggest you bring a long an external power source for your iPod touch! You could bring a polishing cloth with you and see how many scratches you can remove from the back of your iPod if your battery fails ;)

Haha, I was just thinking, even if the games last long enough entertainment-wise, I doubt the battery will hold that long, especially with some of these graphics-intensive games.

All these apps look so cool, fun, helpful and useful. I don't regret for a second that i bought the iPhone!!!!! All these really help justify the extra $30 a month.
