One big annoyance with the iP4 (and I haven't had any before, so I don't know if this is new or an old problem) is how apps update (or don't update) directly on the phone. I have two separate issues:

1) When updating multiple apps at once, I'll often have to enter my iTunes password 3 or 4 times, along with my billing security information, even for free apps. Super annoying.

2) I'll often have apps that say they need updating, and just won't update, either directly through the phone or through iTunes. I have that currently with IMDB, OpenTable, and Weather Channel. I'm still on 4.0.2, I don't know if that has anything to do with this.

Are these both common issues?

Thanks!

I have had this issue pop up every now and then. Just turn off the phone and then turn it back on when the update is stuck. This usually solves the problem for me. Hopefully this will be fixed in 4.2.

OP here. None of those suggestions worked, but upgrading to 4.2 did the trick. Thanks for the help!
