I have been an iphone owner for a couple of years and my wife decided to join the clan and purchase an iphone yesterday. I was wondering if there are any apps that people use within their family? For example, I am going to try to find an application that allows us to send a shopping list from one phone to the other, that way when we are shopping we both have it on our phones and can get different things to speed up the grocery shopping. I know that we could just email a list, but I'm looking for any fun and clever apps that both you use with someone else within your family.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I share all my apps with my wife on her phone as we both use my itunes account. No way I'm paying twice for anything.

Grocery IQ is by far one of the best apps to use for what you described. Updates both phones through push notifications, scan bar codes, includes pricing, etc....we use it all the time. It's a snap. Just install it on both phones.

For lists, I use [app]Outliner[/app],

I've been considering [app]HomeBudget[/app] to keep each other up to date on transactions. I don't like the UI as much as [app]Active Money Pro[/app]'s. I'm hoping Active Money Pro will allow for syncing in an update.
