Apps won't open after 3.0.1 update!

Hi guys, first post.

I have just updated to 3.0.1 on my Iphone 3g. Please note the phone is NOT jailbroken.

However, I cannot open any apps what-so-ever now, they just flash up for a second and close, taking me back to the menu.

Can someone help me? Or will I have to restore?

Try to remove the app and then do a reinstall from appstore. If this doesn't work then do a full restore

Thanks for the swift replies!

I'd just like to point out though, that it's not a particular app that has caused this effect, just the update. None of my apps are working.
 
You can do a restore from a previous backup, but more than likely it will not work. You will need to restore as a new phone.
 
How very strange, I uninstalled Vampires Live, and reinstalled it, tried it out and it worked!

And it seems that ALL my other applications are now in working order!

Problem solved. If you see anyone with a similar problem, suggest this solution, it just may work.
