I am trying to update some apps which are showing a pending update in the App Store. When I click on Update next to the app, it spins for a bit and then stops. Same thing happens if I try Update All. Any ideas? I have tried on Wifi/Cellular, restart the phone, reset network settings....

What iOS version are you running? Do you have enough space on your phone? Try force quitting the App Store and try (I know you restarted phone). Also are you trying on Cellular? Can you check Settings > App Store and Cellular is ON if so.

iOS 16.0.2 - I have tried all of the above. Phone shows 28GB free and I tried even force restart.

Weird. Maybe try Sogn out of AppStore alone. Go to App Store > click on profile icon at top right > scroll all the way down > sign out. Then force quit App Store from app switch. Then try to sign in again? Also, are you able to install new apps? Is it just the update?

I can install new apps just fine - its only updates. I can update just fine on my iPad so its very odd.
