Here is a quick fix for the appsnapp issue that seams to be doing everyone's head in.
I will try to keep it real simple.

The best thing to do before you you do anything is to read these instructions several times until it all makes sense.
In your Iphone I guess you managed to get to the contacts in your iphone by doing the downgrade to 1.1.1 and *#307#.

So now in your in contact's page you see prefs:// (Setup up yr wifi) and then Jailbreak.

tap on Jailbreakme.com and safari will load. You see the appsnapp button at the bottom of the jailbreakme.com page in your iphone.

Now that safari is open in the iphone in the bottom right corner of the safari you see a little box with a number in it. tap this box and close all open safari web pages.

If appsnapp has failed it will leave several empty boxes with a little round X in the top left corner. close all these apart from jailbreakme.com.

once closed return to jailbreak screen.

If itunes 7.5 is open close it by file and then exit. Then restart Itunes again !

open itunes 7.5 wait 2 or 3 mins for itunes to find your iphone Itunes will ask you to activate the iphone " click cancel" Itunes will ask "are you sure" click "ok" .

Check your iphone for wifi connection at the top of the iphone screen. If no wifi connection then go back to prefs:// in contacts and resolve the issue.

Click on appsnapp in the jailbreakme page the iphone will now go back to activation screen don't touch anything just wait.

After 1 min the phone should re boot.

This is only for iphone shipped with version 1.1.2 with 4.6. Appsnapp will now be downloaded to your iphone. If it fails start again. I have tested this on ATT and O2 phones and this fixes the issue. Once done continue with the rest of the jailbreak setup.

Please feel free to contact me at gsskaf@gmail.com for any help. I try my best to help you out.

"dont quit keep trying. If all fails start from the begging and downgrade again to 1.1.1 and take you time in the end it will all work out....."maybe"

###note### the phone must be connected all the time by the USB cable when doing the above.
Regards,
