Adrift in a sea of possibilities
Went iMac two years ago, love it, never going back to Windows. I'm getting ready to purchase a new 27" iMac after the refresh, and will be giving my 21.5" iMac to my wife. My questions:
- When I set-up my new Mac with my AppleID, will I be able to install all purchases I've made on the appstore onto the new computer?
- Will I then have to uninstall the apps from my old computer, or is the appstore a "buy once/install many" type thing.

Probably a newbie question, but I've never been in this situation before.

Thanks.

Apple continues to amaze . . .

@Bear, thanks for your quick answer and respectfully pointing out what should have been obvious: Read the FAQ!

Pasted from the Mac App Store FAQ:

Can I use apps from the Mac App Store on more than one computer?
Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use.
If I have already downloaded an app from the Mac App Store, can I redownload it for free?
Yes. You can redownload apps from the Mac App Store as long as the app remains available. You may be asked to enter the Apple ID and password you initially used to download the app
