Hi All,

My first app went up on the store overnight, but I notice that everything is perfect accept it shows the app name for the company name. I have been through the whole iTunes connect and can't see why.

When I log on to the dev site and iTunes connect it clearly greets me with the company name in all the right places. It's only when I look at the entry on the AppStore that it gets it wrong.

Any pointers, or should I just contact Apple?

A bit of an update.

Have spoken to Dev support who tell me that we must have entered the app name in the 'Artists name' field for it to do this. Given that iTunesconnect is used for music, video, etc as well, an artist's name is the developer 's name in the case of an app. Seems like a simple misunderstanding on our part.

I have now emailed itunesconnect to see what can be done.

For those interested, our app is aboutDesign. A specialised glossary of design and print terms and technology. It's aimed at graphic design professionals and design students.
