Hey guys I have jailbroken 1.1.2. So is it safe to upgrade this???? Or will I have that wacky not working installer. What version jb do you guys have???

I updated it twice. Both times I was left with not being able to install anything and got the cant install error. I had to re-ziphone both times to reinstall the old installer.

I installed both the new installer and summerboard yesterday. Installed a few things and no problems here...so far anyway...

problem installing installer.app

Hiya,

I'm hoping someone could help me with a little problem.

I have got an unlocked iPhone with firmware 1.0.2. I want to install installer so I can virginize and update to 1.1.4.

I have downloaded installer.app from nullriver for my firmware 1.0.2.
when I start the install it goes to about 80% and then it doesn't go any further. It says in the detail log that it could take several minutes. I waited for 10min and then gave up. Is it meant to take that long?

Should I get installer from jailbreakme.com instead?

I have downloaded installer.app to my computer and plugged in my iPhone. Could it be win Vista that is causing this problem?
